DO NOT CHANGE SKINS. At least not yet. Do not use 'testhsm' as your main skin - it doesn't work for a reason. That's my testing ground for new skins that we want to incorporate here.HSM2 and Safari are the only ones that work, but we want you to stay on HSM2.

Another fanfic challenge
Well, look who it is? A non-writer issuing a challenge to all the writers out there..intrigued?You should be!
So anywho.. here's what I got:
What if neither Zac nor Vanessa got the HSM gig? They didn't even meet! What if Zac decided to do the college thing in USC? And Vanessa followed through on that plan to audition for American Idol and made it to the top 24? We know Zac is big AI fan... follow me so far?
Challenge:Write a fanfic around Vanessa's up and down during the whole AI experience with a certain USC college student, that would be Zac, as one of her admirers/fans. You can include any or all of the other Wildcats in the story (remember, both of them met Ashley before the audition for HSM). Make it fun, fluffy, smexy, whatever - as long as it's not sad-mopey. I get headaches when I cry.
Deadline:you have until 11:59 pm ET on March 21st.
Winner:You get all the following:
- Zeke’s creme brulee
- Unlimited Rides on Sharpay’s Pink Golf Cart
- A song from Kelsi
- A dance lesson or two from Ryan & Martha
- One-on-one session in basketball with Chad
- Swimming party with Gabriella
- A copy of the “boy” handbook written by Taylor’s sister
- Golf lessons with Troy
- & some form of art from Jill (since I'm not good with artwork either)
So start submitting. Make sure you submit your story as a response to this challenge.
By the way, any of you can issue a fanfic challenge - in fact, there's another one in there by hersheyskiss. So start writing!

A Winner!
I know, finally, right? I'm not going to lie and say we went back and forth for weeks, because that's not true. We've just had other things that we've been working on as well.So, finally, an announcement. I want to thank everyone who participated in the Wildcat Christmas Challenge! Ellie, Peggy, Dee and Victoria - all your fics were great and such a joy to read. But a big Congratulations to VICTORIA - you're our winner!

A Few Glitches...
Hi everyone. First off, Chay, Sarah, Holden & I would just like to say WOWZA at the member count. Because yea, WOW! 93 Members in just a few days. That is unbelievable. Thank you for registering & making us squee. Also, please refer your favorite HSM&Cast Fanfic writers our way. We're always interested in putting more stories in the archive, since right now we only have a few stories for you to read.
I also realize that the reviews are not working and I apologize deeply for that to all authors. I am working on getting that up and running shortly. If there are any other things you see kind of glitchy or are just wondering about, please do email us (fanfic@vanashbrenique.net). That way we can start fixing those to make this a better site.

Welcome to The Music in Me, the first High School Musical & Cast Fanfiction Archive!You have no idea how much we went through to breathe this place into life. Seriously, you don't. So, some shout outs are in order:
Katie: THANK YOU for encouraging us to actually do this. Without you, this probably would still be just a dream that we all would be fantasizing about.
